Indoors @ASR wasn't just the usual Mainstream Action Sports Event filled with UBER FASHIONISTA's,SWIMSUIT MODELS, House DJ's, Over Priced food & weak cocktails, overzealous badge-checking security,etc; This Time There was a LIFE SIZED Card Board Cut Out of Artist/MotorBike Designer/Skateboarder MIKEY RATT of Route 44 Representing for LOSER MACHINE in The High End Section of ASR CLASS!!!! MIKEY'S LOSER MACHINE Signature Custom Made Motorcycle Helmets ARE The Bidness!!!! Best Kop One before their gone!!!!



The Volcomm Booth was RAGING by 4PM!!!! This years Theme was Bright Colored Disco Club & The Free Brews were in Effect!!!! LOL!!!! HILARIOUS SH*T!!!! Check Out



Luckily We Escaped The Nonsense to Watch Skate Standard/Paradox Grip/Vox Footwear's ULTRA RIPPER CORY JUNEAU Warm Up on The Volcomm Ramp!!!! RADNESS FO SHIZZLES!!!! Cory was voted Most Improved Skateboarder for The ASR Weekend by The S.P.O.T.(Skatepark of Tampa) Series Guys!!!!



But Then....It was ESTRO JEN TIME!!!! The Betty Page Of Roller Skates, MOXI SKATES and Long Beach Roller Derby Takes Over!!!!

As for The EC(El Cajon)-13 Crew(Tommy, Libby, Mike Garcia, Jacob, Mark, Fred, Strickland, Dave Anderson to name a few!) These OG's have been Killing not only The East County of San Diego Scene since The Early Eighties but with affiliations from just about Every Major Skateboard Company known Today and Through out The Friggin' US of A!!!! Str8 On The Map, FOOLS!!!! But This is About Mark and We'll get to The EC-13 Crew and Coronado Sk8 Sessions in The Future!!!! By The Way, Mark put The Coronado Sessions & BBq's All Together!!!!

We've wanted to do a Blog about Mark Because His Life of Skateboarding has brought him into The Full Circle of Our Culture and Dedication of Shredding!!!! Since his Z-Boy days He went on to help build Ultra Successful Tum Yeto's FOUNDATION SKATEBOARDS with Todd Swank and worked At LEGENDARY ZORLAC Skateboards, HUMAN Skateboards etc. We finally got the opportunity(after Bugging My man for a couple of weeks! Hehe..:)to meet up and cruise Kennedy Sk8 Park!!!!! But First We pull up to Mark's Place and BAM! DM Printing Shop is in Full Effect(Mark owns & operates his business DM Printing)!!!!
