Hey ALMighty Wood-Pushers!!!!
On Saturday September 25th was "Barging The Barrio" Community Sk8 Jam at The House of Elements Warehouse in Barrio Logan, San Diego, Ca. This Event wasn't your typical "Corporate Energy Drink/Skate Sponsor" Skateboarding Event, it was more of a D.I.Y(do it yourself) local collaboration of Sponsors,SKATE STANDARD(shop), Emerald City(shop), VOX FOOTWEAR, Deeply Rooted Skateboards, Do Good Skateboards, IRONS BRAND Clothing and CHIKLE .The turn out was AWESOME to say the least, bringing Local Skateboarder's of All Backgrounds & Ages to The Barrio for Fun & Ripping!!!! The Event was for All Skateboarders to SHINE(it didn't matter who you were or where you came from) as We All Shared Goodvibes & displayed some Top Notch SHREDDING!!!!

There were 5 "little" Contests which consisted of flat ground games of S.K.A.T.E. (Made most popular from TheBerrics.com) and 4 Best Trick Battles on different skateboard obsticles made for streetstyle!!!! The People were HYPED and stayed shredding for pretty much 6 Hours, STRAIGHT!!!! Since Our Host "The House of Elements" are 100% into several artforms( from art galleries, yoga,skateboarding) it seemed fit to for us to ask a close friend of ours and Great local Photographer, Garvin Ha to catch a few flicks.
