Starting Off Our 2011 would only be fitting to be documenting Skate Standard/ Vox Footwear/ Sector 9 Skateboards Rider and San Diego Homey, 11 yr-old MR.CORY JUNEAU entering The First Ever Vans Combi AM Contest!!!! All The Ams Sk8'ing were Straight Ripping All Day and Night in Orange County, Ca.'s Vans Combi Bowl, January 29th thru the 30th! But Our Favorite and Top Qualifier CORY was definitely throwing down HUGE Airs, Stylish Grinds, Long Boardslides not to Mention Took The HARDEST SLAM out of ALL The AMS!!!! CORY doesn't Slow Down One bit and Gives it his ALL to Air The Highest, Grind The longest and Slide The Farthest...No Matter What ....and Sometimes He PAYS IN BLOOD & TEARS!!!! But CORY Always Gets Up!!!!.....And Earned his way to Fourth Place!!!! WAY TO GO KID!!!! Here's some of The Pics of CORY'S SHREDDING!!!! On Saturday September 25th was "Barging The Barrio" Community Sk8 Jam at The House of Elements Warehouse in Barrio Logan, San Diego, Ca. This Event wasn't your typical "Corporate Energy Drink/Skate Sponsor" Skateboarding Event, it was more of a D.I.Y(do it yourself) local collaboration of Sponsors,SKATE STANDARD(shop), Emerald City(shop), VOX FOOTWEAR, Deeply Rooted Skateboards, Do Good Skateboards, IRONS BRAND Clothing and CHIKLE .The turn out was AWESOME to say the least, bringing Local Skateboarder's of All Backgrounds & Ages to The Barrio for Fun & Ripping!!!! The Event was for All Skateboarders to SHINE(it didn't matter who you were or where you came from) as We All Shared Goodvibes & displayed some Top Notch SHREDDING!!!!
There were 5 "little" Contests which consisted of flat ground games of S.K.A.T.E. (Made most popular from TheBerrics.com) and 4 Best Trick Battles on different skateboard obsticles made for streetstyle!!!! The People were HYPED and stayed shredding for pretty much 6 Hours, STRAIGHT!!!! Since Our Host "The House of Elements" are 100% into several artforms( from art galleries, yoga,skateboarding) it seemed fit to for us to ask a close friend of ours and Great local Photographer, Garvin Ha to catch a few flicks. Fellow Skateboarder and Friend, Pastor David Harrison of Cornerstone Church invited SMA/Paradox Grip/Remind Insoles/Vox Footwear's Rider Cory Juneau to Sk8 The Demo They hosted this past Tuesday, June 29th 2010!!!! The Skateboarding Demo was on a VERY Tight Tranny'd Mobile Halfpipe but CJ Found his line!!!! Check out The Footage:
The Kid's and Parents in attendance were STOKED out that Cory had brought out some stickers & posters for The South Bay Event!!!! Cory was actually signing some poster's as well, making New Friends & Fans!!!!

This past Saturday at Ecke YMCA Skatepark in Encinitas, Ca. Alliance Of Action Sports(Alli) hosted The GATORADE Free Flow Tour June 13th, 2010!!!! The Events were The Vert Ramp, The Street Park & Street Open All for chances to place and go on to The DEW Tour in Salt Lake City, Utah for The Big Prize Money!!!! I also took this opportunity to Promote The Vox Footwear / SKATE STANDARD Rider's to The Fullest!!!! Here's a few Shots of How this AWESOME Contest went down!!!

Top Skateboarding Ams from Flip's Andrew Langi, Birdhouse's Aaron "Jaws" Homoki, Chocolate's Vincent Alvarez and Girl's Cory Kennedy were going for theirs as well!!!! Hey Rippers!!!! I'm hardly one to miss a great time and last night @ALL THING'S RAD "SD SKATEBOARDING LEGENDS NIGHT" @EL Dorado Bar in Downtown San Diego,Ca. was RADNESS!!!! I thought that might be the case so before hand I hooked up with Dave"Persue" from Vox Footwear and grabbed some Promos to give out. Even Though it's the first day of Phoenix Am practice and others couldn't make it out, I wasn't disappointed neither were everyone else in attendance!!!! First Person I run into as My Lady and I walk up to the entrance is H-Street Rider/PD/PB Champ, Mr. Marcelle Johnson!!!! What Up Homey!!!!
As the night proceeded Skateboarding best started to walk in the door and I ran into Fellow Curb-Crusher/Willy's Workshop Rider/Former CASL State Champ/Fellow Curb-Crusher, Mr. Crispin Alhambra!!!!
As Billed Legendary H-Street/Puma/G&S/Tribal/Vox Footwear and All Around Rad Dude, The Stylish Ollie Champ, Mr. Kien "The Donger" Lieu was manning The Turntables pumpin' out hits!!!!
Here's Chula Vista Homies and Str8 SD Skateboarding Legends, H-street/Maple's Mr. Jason Carney and "The Smooth Operator" Mr. June Kate!!!! For those that don't know Carney was the first to capture the backside lipslide on a handrail @School W!!!! Rumor has it somewhere in the archives He might've did the first kickflip backlip on a handrail also!!!! F*ck Yeah Carney!!!!
